The part most tools skip
Anyone can show you the next chapter. Holding you back is the hard part.
A ladder is only honest if some rungs stay locked. When accuracy on a concept slips, that rung turns coral and the one above it closes, no matter how far the class has moved on. It is uncomfortable for about a week and it is the reason the mint rungs mean something.
- Coral is not a failure state. It is a flag that says the cheapest thing you can do right now is fifteen minutes here.
- Gaps get inserted, not ignored. If a Class 10 doubt traces back to a Class 8 skill, that rung appears below you and has to be cleared.
- Mint means retained. Mastery has to hold across sessions and across newly generated questions before the colour sticks.
